How do I create a Raise Education account?

Learn how to set up a Raise Education account in just a few simple steps.

Creating a Raise Education account is quick and easy. Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Visit www.raisefinancial.com and navigate to the Education section.

  2. Click Sign Up and enter your name, email address, and a secure password.

  3. Create your Raise Education account by filling out details about the beneficiary, account owner, successor, and click "Create Account"

  4. Create an initial contribution by selecting the amount, frequency, payment method, and writing a description. Click "Contribute"

  5. Set up a 529 plan through our trusted partner, My529, to start saving.

Once your account is set up, you can invite friends and family to contribute and grow the fund together. If you have any questions or need assistance, tap the pink chat icon in the bottom right corner of any screen.

What is Raise Financial's Role and What is My529's Role?

  • My529 is the plan provider that manages the funds. It is administered by the Utah State Treasury Department, but you can use it no matter where you live. Our partnership with them streamlines the process and ensures that, in the unlikely event Raise ceases to operate, your funds remain safe and secure.
